Scattered around the list will be alternative items which may be used in any contest, if the competitor can get them. Note, if using shalager default, you must use a schalager whether your own or one of opportunity, There will be no mis-match of weapons. Competitors with personal weapons they would prefer in list as weapons of opportunity may substitute one already there for a like weapon. i.e. You have a favourite sword and want to make it available in list even though you must enter single weapon. You may then replace a similar weapon in the list with that weapon and if given the opportunity, use it. You should remove it after the bout.

Upon determination of the contest, the looser will surrender a token of their color to the winner. If you have none of your color left, but have one of the opponent's color, you may surrender that one. If you have no tokens left at all, you may fight one more bout to obtain a token. Should you loose, you will surrender yourself for service at feast to the winner and serve that individual.

In order to win, you must have at least one of your color or one of the three chivalry tokens. The winner is determined by counting the total number of opponents tokens in your possession. Should there be a tie, then the number of your color is counted. If there is still a tie, the one having a chivalry token will be the winner. If there is still a tie, then there will be a best of three contest.

In order to increase the number of fights and diversity, once we have gone through the groups at least twice, competitors my que up in either group, but must surrender their color upon defeat. This can be a way to obtain tokens of your own color by fighting another wit the same color and defeating them.

Melee: This will be a warm up and to afford competitors a chance to get used to the list. Note all furniture will remain grounded! Once a suitable number of melees have been run, we will start the main contest. Pick ups are allowed, but must be marshaled by a qualified marshal.
